Kochu Govinda Pillai (1916–2008) was a great Kathakali artist who trained Kathakali under the great Sri.Chennithala Kochu Pillai Panicker and Sri.Kurichi Kunjan Panicker and winner of the Sangeet Natak AkademiAward for 1989.
